Bevel gear boxes and worm gear reducers from Ganter
Bevel gear boxes
Bevel gear boxes, also called angular gears, transmit and redirect torques and rotational movements. The bevel gear wheels of case-hardened steel within the compact aluminium housing are arranged at right angles (90°) to each other. The gear ratio for every size is 1:1 (i = 1). Angular gears are used in many areas of mechanical engineering and architecture, where redirection is required without changing the gear ratio.
Worm gear reducers
Worm gear reducers can be used in a wide range of applications. They offer an easy way to achieve high gear ratios (up to i = 65) at a very low noise level. Thanks to the housing of aluminium, the worm gear reducers are very robust but still lightweight. The numerous fastening holes allow for simple mounting in any orientation or position.
