Product description
Grub screws GN 632.1 with ball thrust point are used with thrust pads GN 631 and GN 631.2 for clamping and pressing.
Together with the thrust pad, the ball thrust point forms a ball joint that adapts to clamping surfaces that are uneven or not perpendicular to the screw axis. It also prevents the clamping surface from rotating when the thrust pad is in contact with the clamping surface. The ball diameter d2 is smaller than the core diameter of the thread, with the effect that the grub screw can be screwed in on the ball side.
The ball thrust point snaps securely into the respective thrust pad and can be removed again if needed.
